First Look at My Adult Contemporary Romance - Cross the Stars - Venessa Kimball writing as V. Angelika

NEWS TO RELAY FROM THE WRITING CAVE! ADULT ROMANCE LOVERS, THIS IS FOR YOU <3

heart emoticon
Just popping my head out of the writing cave to tell you how super excited I am to share Cross the Stars with you in March! I am writing the final 7K words right now and I can tell you that THIS NOVEL has worked me over! ARABIC TRANSLATION, DYNAMICS OF MIDDLE EASTERN RELATIONS, STUDY ABROAD PROGRAMS, ACURRACY OF ROYAL NAME PLACEMENTS (Yes, it is effing hard to do this- and I have an Arabic editor combing my content starting Monday!), TERRORISM IN THE MIDDLE EAST, THE BEDOUIN WAY, WADI RUM, PETRA, AMMAN JORDAN, THE LIST GOES ON AND ON AND ON! Estimated 90 hours of research, translations, and analysis. There are so many layers in this book: a cultural journey, a journey into civil unrest happening right now in the Middle East, a love story that defies the cultural boundaries. The list continues.
So, I warn you.... be prepared to sink deep into this one!
The backdrop: the Middle East, turbulence in Syria and a threatening plot being devised in the royal Jordanian family. The love story between my new favorite characters, Ella and Raj.
I have fallen for these two....I'm sure it has something to do with this being my first adult contemporary romance/suspense novel EVER. There were a few times that I had to leave the writing cave while writing "certain" scenes because of the dynamic between these two lovers. *sigh*
SOOOOOOOOO, WHY AM I TEASING YOU SO?
Tomorrow I will post the first of two introductions: You will meet Raj tomorrow on FB, Twitter, Instagram, Tumblr, etc. etc.   Ella, will be introduced the following week.  wink emoticon
It will be the first look and it will also come with a fun giveaway so keep your eyes peeled for the first look at Raj from "Cross the Stars, my Adult contemporary romance/Suspense penned under V. Angelika-

WHY  PENNING UNDER PSEUDONYM?
Since I also write Young Adult fiction, I wanted to protect my young readers with the knowledge that anything under V. Angelika will be  meant for readers 17+  due to adult situations and content.
